A synthetic bone material developed by curasan AG of Kleinostheim, Germany, has gained certification from Health Canada. The product, known as Cerasorb M Ortho, is now approved for sale in the whole of North America, according to the Chief Executive of curasan, Hans Dieter Rossler.
The news of the approval comes as "a pleasant surprise," he says, because certification had not been expected until next year.
